DEM Flybys

Geo-F/X has developed the tools to allow flybys of DEM terrain models.  This is often useful (not to mention fun!) for more accurately visualizing the characteristics of a topography or event.  Shown below is a scene from a flyby from orbital altitude down over the Indian subcontinent and the Himalaya.  The data for the image were derived from the Topo30 DEM data.
